The Sufficiency of Christ in You
‘But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not consult any man’.
So many people define themselves by their perceived failure, or their fear of failure, or the failure of others (whether real or perceived). But God is not interested in defining you by your own performance or by the implications of the performance of others! No, God never defines according to the knowledge of this world; he defines according to the reality that you are lovely, and that Jesus, who by the way is an expert at living victoriously, lives in you! You see, whatever you may be facing, whatever your situation, the King of glory lives in you and he loves to reveal his majesty through glorious manifestation in you, and through you! Whatever it is you need – whether holiness, financial provision, health, emotional wholeness – it has been abundantly provided by the person of Jesus who abides in you forever!
If you find yourself looking at yourself harshly; defining yourself by the basic principles of this world, instead of by Christ, then listen to the Father; go to your loving Daddy, who will point you to the sufficient one within you! Listening to the voice of grace is the right frequency for those who have received the person of Grace! Your loving Daddy will never ridicule you, he will go out of his way to make certain he never scares you (sometimes people interpret power as something to be afraid of, but the Godhead will never use their power against you, it’s always for you!), and he will forever point to your loveliness, perfection, and to the sufficient one you are one with!
The Spirit today is pointing you to his life within you! It pleases him immensely because it will result in you enjoying all that Salvation has provided you! Don’t fear the rejection of the divine, and don’t define yourself by the basic principles of this world! Instead, listen to the Father who is always revealing to you the beauty of his Son and his sufficiency in you!
