Resources for families and men
in Northwest Arkansas
Plain answers to the questions people ask us, and honest pointers to help across the region — including help we don’t provide.
Most of what’s written about addiction online is written to sell a treatment bed. This section isn’t.
These are the things we find ourselves explaining on the phone over and over, written down so a family in Bentonville at midnight doesn’t have to wait for business hours to get an answer. Some of it points to us. A fair amount of it points somewhere else, because not everyone who needs help needs this program.

you love
A practical guide for families — how to know if it’s actually addiction, how to bring it up, what to do when he refuses help, setting boundaries that hold, the money question, protecting children, overdose safety, and how to recognise when he’s finally ready.
It’s the longest and most useful thing on this site, and it’s written for the questions people actually ask us on the phone.
